Claims Investigator - Experienced
Command Investigations
Seeking experienced investigators with commercial or personal lines experience, with multi-lines preferred to include AOE/COE, Auto, and Homeowners. SIU experience is highly desired, but not required. We are seeking individuals who possess proven investigative skill sets within the industry, as well as honesty, integrity, self-reliance, resourcefulness, independence, and discipline. Good time management skills are a must. Must have reliable transportation, digital recorder and digital camera. Job duties include, but are not limited to, taking in-person recorded statements, scene photos, writing a detailed, comprehensive report, client communications, as well as meeting strict due dates on all assignments. Role Description The Indemnity Claims Specialist manages within company best practices lower-level, non-complex and non-problematic workers’ compensation claims within delegated limited authority to best possible outcome, under the direct supervision of a senior claims professional, supporting the goals of claims department and of CorVel.
