Role Description Du willst neben dem Studium an echter Infrastruktur arbeiten und nicht an Übungsaufgaben? Du hast Interesse daran, wie man Infrastruktur automatisiert, als Code baut und absichert? Dann bist du bei uns richtig. Der Umfang liegt bei bis zu 20 Stunden pro Woche. - Du hilfst uns, IT-Infrastruktur (Server, VMs, Netzwerk) als Code zu beschreiben und automatisiert aufzusetzen. Wir nutzen dafür u.a. Terraform und Ansible. - Du entwickelst bestehende Infrastruktur weiter und arbeitest an unseren CI/CD-Pipelines mit. - Je nach Projekt und deinen Fähigkeiten arbeitest du auch an Infrastruktur für verschiedene Projekte mit. Qualifications - Du studierst Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder einen verwandten Studiengang, idealerweise IT Sicherheit. - Du hast sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1 Niveau). - Du hast Übung darin, Infrastruktur als Code (IaC) aufzubauen und in Projekten zu nutzen. - Terraform, Ansible, Docker sind keine Fremdbegriffe für dich. - Du hast gute Netzwerkkenntnisse. - Erfahrung mit einem Cloud-Anbieter oder mit CI/CD- und DevSecOps-Themen ist ein Plus. - Du arbeitest strukturiert und analytisch und übernimmst Verantwortung für deine eigene Arbeit. - Du bist motiviert, zuverlässig und zeigst Eigeninitiative. Role Description Identify and resolve operational issues in line with agreed standards, always looking for smarter, AI-driven improvements and starting with the question: “Why can’t we use AI here?” - The role may also include supporting DNS and WAF areas, including working with the client to review and adjust Cloudflare configurations, DNS records, WAF rules, and related security or traffic management settings. - Work with modern DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise) and actively leverage AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve productivity and quality. - Operate with an AI-as-DNA mindset - staying curious, integrating AI into daily workflows, and driving automation across network operations and infrastructure management. - Own network infrastructure lifecycle activities (design, implementation, monitoring, optimization) and ensure clear reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement of processes and deployments. • Partner with the development team to implement secure engineering patterns, maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, and remediate vulnerabilities, including contributing code, configuration, pipeline changes, and infrastructure updates where appropriate. • Design and maintain security gates for code quality, dependency scanning, container image scanning, secrets detection, infrastructure misconfiguration, and policy compliance. • Support Kubernetes and container security for AWS EKS environments, including image hardening, admission controls, runtime monitoring, network policies, workload identity, secrets management, and least-privilege access patterns. • Support controls for new tooling/integration usage, the handling of sensitive data, and access controls. • Help define and enforce secure-by-default engineering standards across the application, infrastructure, and delivery pipeline. • Help drive the move toward ATO and near-real-time compliance. • Implement monitoring of production runtime environments for vulnerabilities and compliance drift and make security and compliance reporting available on demand. • Translate security findings into actionable engineering work items in JIRA and support teams through remediation, validation, and closure. • Identify, document, and communicate security risks tied to modernization efforts • Monitor cloud environments using AWS tools • Participates in Agile processes including daily standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint planning • Collaborates with a fully integrated Agile team to deliver continuous improvement to designs, processes, and standards

• Contribute to a strong DevOps and DevSecOps culture across engineering teams. • Design, build and maintain secure, scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms. • Manage and support AWS environments, Linux-based systems and global device platforms. • Embed security controls, automation and compliance practices into engineering workflows. • Lead vulnerability management, security remediation and cloud security improvement initiatives. • Monitor platform health, performance and security, responding to incidents and operational events. • Research, recommend and implement platform, security and operational improvements. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers and development teams. • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Architecture and Application teams to deliver business outcomes.
