Director, Finance & Strategy
SITE Technologies
• Own the annual plan and rolling forecast, including P&L, headcount, and cash flow modeling. • Build and maintain SITE’s Long Range Plan (LRP) with scenario planning capabilities for strategic decision making and fundraising support. • Lead the monthly close cadence in partnership with our accounting team. • Develop department-level budgets with functional leaders and hold the business accountable to them. • Evaluate M&A, partnership, and market expansion opportunities through rigorous financial diligence and scenario modeling. • Build out our SaaS Dashboard: ARR/ACV cohorts, GRR/NRR, CAC, LTV, gross margin by segment, Rule of 40, etc. • Drive pricing and packaging analysis across our SaaS and services offering. • Act as go-to for cross-functional problem solving.
Job Requirements
- An experienced finance leader with 6–10 years of progressive finance experience.
- A background in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategic finance is a strong plus.
- At least 3 years in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment.
- A genuine drive to build an AI native finance using best-in-class tools.
- Deep fluency in SaaS metrics - ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40.
- Strong financial modeling skills (3-statement, long-range, scenario, and cohort analysis).
- Experience owning or co-owning an FP&A function.
- Comfort operating as a generalist in a lean environment.
- Exceptional communicator who can distill complexity into crisp, actionable insight.

Description of Work The primary purpose of this position is to assess and monitor the fiscal health of morethan 1,100 local governments in NC. Units are assessed to determine fiscal and operational health and compliance with NC state statutes. The assessment is conducted primarily through review of the annual independent audit submitted by each government, and also through review. Information is gathered also by providing technical assistance by phone or email, and by visiting directly with unit staff and their auditors. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences - The anticipated hiring rate for this position is up to $72,314, based on available funding and internal equity considerations.* This positions serves to: - Review proportional share of audited financial statements of NC local governments and public authorities for the State and Local Government Finance Division, helping to determine the fiscal health of the units. - Assist units of local government and public authorities in matters related to governmental accounting and reporting, auditing, budgeting, NC General Statutes, Orbit compliance and other issues and questions that arise - Prepare reports for management as requested within specific guidelines and deadlines. - Review various communications for units of local government and public authorities relating to Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), Association of International Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and other rule setting bodies.
