Director, Internal Communications

• Lead Marathon Health's enterprise communication strategy, ensuring teammates are informed, engaged, and connected to the organization's mission, culture, and business priorities • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to executive leadership and a key member of the People Experience team • Drive organizational alignment, strengthen leadership communications, enable enterprise change, and enhance teammate experience through thoughtful communication strategies, data-driven insights, and AI-enabled innovation • Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure the right information reaches the right audiences at the right time • Oversee enterprise communication channels, including Town Halls, executive communications, the intranet, newsletters, Microsoft Teams, lock screens, and other digital communication platforms • Develop and execute communication strategies that foster engagement, transparency, inclusion, and connection to Marathon Health's mission and values • Manage the People Experience communications calendar to ensure timely, coordinated, and effective messaging across the organization • Develop communication dashboards and performance metrics to measure effectiveness, engagement, and business impact • Present communication insights, recommendations, and trends to executive leadership • Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to improve communication quality, speed, personalization, accessibility, and operational efficiency

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Human Resources or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, executive communications, organizational communications, change management, or teammate experience
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and leading enterprise communication strategies
  • Proven success supporting organizational transformation, technology implementations, mergers, acquisitions, or other large-scale business initiatives
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills with strong executive presence
  • Experience using communication metrics, analytics, and teammate insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated expertise leveraging AI and emerging technologies to modernize communications, improve operational efficiency, personalize the teammate experience, and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of communication governance, responsible AI practices, digital communication platforms, and organizational change
