• From your home office in Missouri, certified Teachers will manage instructional programs. • Consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes their instructional program. • Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner. • Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction. • Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding (working directly with students and parents). • Communicate with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules. • Score assessments, provide feedback on student work, suggest instructional approaches and strategies, monitor completion of assignments and coach special projects. • Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure that all students are successfully progressing through the program. • Support students and parents with alternate strategies and provide additional assistance with daily assignments and projects. • Keep student records and data up-to-date, including cumulative files, online student and family information, attendance accounting, and logging all student and parent contacts. • Consult with other teachers and staff learning specialists to develop alternate enrichment activities and modifications to students’ programs to increase student understanding. • Manage regional field trips and make efforts to integrate trips into the curriculum. • Participate in the organization and administration of the State Testing, including in-person proctoring of State Test at various locations around the state of MO. • Participate in student recruiting sessions and other marketing efforts that require teacher representation. • Attend and participate in in-person training sessions and team building activities scheduled throughout the school year, locations TBD. • Attend field trips and other community activities implemented for families. • Other duties as assigned.

• Working with Iowa Connections Academy from your home office in Iowa • Manage instructional programs • Consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of instructional program • Host homeroom LiveLessons and provide support for students and families • Encourage students to be engaged in their lessons and LiveLessons • Implement and oversee programs for students and families related to intervention • Conduct weekly or biweekly check-ins with at-risk students • Collaborate with the Professional School Counseling Team to support at-risk students • Attend and participate in in-person training sessions and state testing activities

• Provides direct, engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students daily • Provides targeted, personalized feedback using a variety of techniques • Differentiates instruction based on student level of mastery • Analyzes student data and identifies appropriate actions that improve student achievement • Creates a welcoming class environment adhering to course set-up and management guidelines • Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and proactively communicates with all stakeholders in a timely manner

• Delivers specific course content in an online environment • Provides instruction, support, and guidance to students • Manages the learning process and focuses on students’ individual needs • Monitors student progress through the learning management system • Travels occasionally for school functions like state testing
