• Help client plan participants with enrollment process and updates to health care and/or pension plans • Provide customer service in a work from home environment • Quickly build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner • Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws • Translate health and welfare and pension terms into simple explanations for customers • Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes
Job Requirements
- High School degree required
- Experience working in a customer service-related field
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively using the English language in a customer service setting
- Ability to quickly assess member concerns and formulate a response/resolution using analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Ability to type 30 words a minute
- Experience working in a call center environment
- Working knowledge of health and welfare and/or defined benefit pension plans is a plus
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree nice to have.
- Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is also a plus.
