Role Description Stellar Virtual seeks a highly motivated and certified Secondary Math Teacher to join our team in Iowa. This remote position will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective math instruction to students in grades 6-12 through our virtual learning platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mathematics concepts, excellent communication and technology skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and supportive online learning environment. - Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual lessons aligned with the Iowa State Standards for Mathematics for grades 6-12. - Utilize a variety of online teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles and needs. - Develop and deliver asynchronous learning activities, including interactive assignments, projects, and discussions. - Provide clear and timely feedback on student work to promote understanding and growth. - Facilitate small group instruction and provide individualized support to students as needed. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and progress. - Implement the Stellar Virtual mathematics curriculum effectively and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs. - Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning and inform instruction. - Analyze student data to identify learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. - Collaborate with curriculum specialists and other teachers to enhance the mathematics curriculum. - Maintain regular and effective communication with students and parents regarding academic progress, assignments, and concerns. - Support on-site testing events periodically throughout the year (required). - Respond promptly to student and parent inquiries via email, phone, and virtual meetings. - Participate in virtual professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues on best practices in online education. - Work collaboratively with student support services, such as counselors and special education staff, to address student needs. - Attend virtual staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the Stellar Virtual program. Qualifications - Minimum of two (2) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting. - Experience teaching a range of secondary mathematics courses (e.g., Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics). - Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure. - Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting. - Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity. - Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds. - Demonstrated experience in utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment. - Passion for working with students and fostering their academic growth. - Residency in the state of Iowa is required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others learn, making complex processes easier to understand, and creating practical training resources that employees can actually use. The Training Specialist will play an important role in helping new and existing team members understand their responsibilities, build confidence in Revenue Cycle workflows, and perform their work with greater consistency and accuracy. The Training Specialist will work closely with Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, HR, Compliance, and department leaders to: - Develop training materials - Support new hire onboarding - Coordinate required training - Document processes - Strengthen the overall learning experience across the organization Key responsibilities include: - Partnering with Operations and Revenue Cycle Management leaders to identify training needs, workflow gaps, and opportunities to better support employees. - Developing, updating, and organizing training materials, job aids, process guides, SOPs, checklists, onboarding resources, presentations, FAQs, and other practical learning tools. - Supporting training related to revenue cycle workflows, operational procedures, systems, documentation standards, quality expectations, and process changes. - Creating consistent, repeatable training paths for new and existing employees. - Working with managers and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, current, clear, and aligned with department expectations. - Supporting new hire onboarding by helping develop role-specific training plans, schedules, checklists, and follow-up resources. - Collaborating with HR and Compliance to support required training programs, including compliance, HIPAA, privacy, security, policy, and other required training topics. - Assisting with assigning, tracking, documenting, and organizing training completion records. - Maintaining organized training libraries, shared resources, documentation repositories, and knowledge resources. - Promoting a culture of compliance, consistency, accountability, continuous improvement, and shared knowledge. • Manage the delivery of service engagements for Skillsoft clients. • Work with account teams to focus on customer specific program needs • Acts as a liaison for Skillsoft and provides a communication point of contact as it relates to the customer’s service engagements within the parameters of the contract. • Conduct and participate in customer meetings virtually to collect and understand customer business needs around those services provided. • Develop and maintain detailed project work plans, completing all deliverables on time and in scope. • Provide project management oversight for site implementations including site build, configurations, and integration. • Provide guidance on product training and resource availability. Perform training as needed. • Evaluate project risks and raise to management in order to develop contingency plans and to respond to change in risk factors as the project progresses. • Pursue understanding of the customer's program goals as the basis for consulting and recommendations. • Establish solid rapport and working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders for the duration of projects, as well as, deliver clear value in accordance to the customer’s needs as described in the contract will be important for this role.
