Annuity Reinsurance Admin Analyst

• Perform various duties to ensure accurate and timely reporting with annuity reinsurers • Prepare journal entries and required settlement reporting for annuity reinsurance treaties • Participate in many aspects of annuity reinsurance accounting and reporting • Prepare accounting/reporting entries and settlement reports for annuity treaties • Partner with various areas to implement new reinsurance treaties / amendments • Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of reinsurance accounts • Assist with internal, external, and reinsurer audits • Maintain key stroke level standard operating procedures • Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects and other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ year of relevant experience in reinsurance accounting or financial reporting
- Reinsurance accounting with annuities or financial services industries preferred
- CPA license or in pursuit of such license preferred
- Strong attention to detail
