Marketing and Brand Ambassador

• Design and develop marketing collateral including flyers, one-pagers, sponsorship and event materials, presentations, event signage, promotional items, client communications, and recruiting materials. • Create branded visual assets for print, digital, social media, email marketing, and event use. • Maintain consistency across all marketing materials and communications. • Coordinate with vendors and both internal and external stakeholders to produce high quality marketing materials. • Manage marketing asset libraries and ensure brand standards are consistently followed. • Assist with firmwide marketing campaigns and internal initiatives. • Apply the firm's established brand standards, visual identity, and messaging across all marketing initiatives. • Ensure consistency across social media, website content, event materials, presentations, advertisements, recruiting efforts, and client-facing communications. • Adapt creative assets and messaging for different audiences while maintaining brand integrity. • Help strengthen and evolve the firm's brand through thoughtful design, storytelling, and content creation. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing materials accurately reflect the firm's reputation, culture, and values. • Assist in planning content across social media platforms. • Assist with content development for employee spotlights, recruiting campaigns, firm announcements, event promotions, and community involvement efforts. • Monitor social media trends and contribute creative ideas for new content opportunities. • Attend select conferences, networking events, sponsorship events, community activities, and firm functions on an as-needed basis to capture photos and video content. • Support event promotion before, during, and after events. • Coordinate event signage, sponsorship assets, promotional items, and marketing materials. • Perform routine website updates using WordPress. • Update content, images, attorney biographies, event information, and landing pages as needed. • Assist with maintaining website accuracy and ensuring content remains current. • Collaborate on website improvements and user experience enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Two or more years of marketing experience
- Experience creating marketing collateral and branded marketing materials
- Experience and strong understanding of social media content creation, platform best practices, content strategy, and audience engagement across professional social media channels
- Highly proficient with Canva and other design platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience supporting a professional services, legal, insurance, financial services, or other B2B organization
- Preferred: WordPress website management experience a plus. Basic understanding of SEO and website best practices
- Preferred: Advanced WordPress experience including page creation, button implementation, landing page updates, and basic website enhancements
- Preferred: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.

As one of the first points of contact for prospective carers, you'll create a warm, welcoming, and positive first impression of Life Without Barriers and our approach to foster care. Through genuine conversations and community engagement, you'll help potential carers reflect on what fostering involves, encouraging thoughtful consideration of how the role may impact their lives, families, and relationships. Your support will empower people to make informed decisions about whether fostering is the right journey for them. Key Responsibilities - Community Events: - Identify, plan and attend public events (as identified in the local Carer Recruitment & Retention Plan) and speak to the general public about what foster care involves and the need for foster carers within their community. - Community events e.g. festivals, markets. - Information Sessions or pre-approval training. - Community Engagement: - Identify key community groups to engage with. - Identify, with the local care team, key community groups or networks that match our carer target group. - Promote our services to various community clubs and groups by conducting presentations or developing relationships. - This would include contacting people in our targeted recruitment group which could be through local high schools, sporting groups, hospitals, disability services and community networks. - Seek opportunities to partner with local groups, businesses and councils in your area. - Media Representative: - Where required, represent LWB in the local media. - Radio (live or pre-recorded); Print (newspaper / digital); TV; social media. - Prospective Carer Liaison: - Talk (via phone, email, webchat) to people seriously considering foster care as identified through the Central Enquiry Team. - Work alongside the local care team to support enquirers to make the right decision about whether they should pursue fostering.
