Role Description This Software Engineer II – MuleSoft Engineer position requires designing, developing and managing integration using Mulesoft Anypoint platform. The candidate should have good understanding and work experience with overall API Management concepts, enforcing security policies, optimizing performance and scalability using DataWeave transformations and caching strategies. The candidate should have experience in API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns and cloud/on-prem deployments. The candidate should have the ability to analyze, code, test, and implement in coordination with stakeholders while following the Enterprise SDLC. Responsibilities - Design, develop and maintain integrations using Mulesoft Anypoint platform. - Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint Studio – Mule Connectors, database, Salesforce. - Develop APIs (system, process and experience layers) aligned with API-led connectivity. - Apply expertise in integration patterns, API design, data transformations (DataWeave), and various MuleSoft components, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager. - Create API specifications using RAML/OAS, design API contracts and ensure proper governance. - Develop REST APIs, Event-driven integrations and batch interfaces. - Develop and implement integrations to enable data flow and process automation between MuleSoft and Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and consistency. - CI/CD & Automation: Implement and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for streamlined builds, testing, and deployment to environments like CloudHub. - Ability to drive change through collaboration, influence, and demonstration of POCs. - Focus on scalability, maintainability, testability, security, and performance. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Application software programming. - Preferred Area of Experience: Mule API Manager and RAML over Anypoint Studio; Anypoint Cloud-Hub; API Gateway and Management; Mule Dataweave; REST; Salesforce; Java; SQL; Git. - 3+ years of experience in MuleSoft development and integration projects. - Hands-on experience in design and development of complex use cases using MuleSoft. - Experience in the Banking and Finance Industry. - Prefer Mulesoft certified candidates. - In-depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall and Agile).
