Role Description Bring strategic thinking, accountability & experience to a high-growth AI search company. We're looking for an SEO Strategist to own the SEO strategy for client accounts and drive the insights and recommendations that produce real search performance. You'll be the strategic thinker in your pod - not someone who waits to be told what to do, but someone who brings ideas, digs deep into the "why" behind decisions, and takes ownership of outcomes. In this role, you will: - Own the SEO strategy for client accounts, ensuring the strategy drives measurable search performance - Work alongside account managers and content specialists within a revenue-generating pod - Bring strategic thinking and ownership rather than simply executing tasks - Potentially join client calls occasionally (not a core requirement, but a nice addition) Qualifications - Real SEO specialist experience (roughly 5-7+ years, though we care more about quality than years) - Progression in past roles (e.g. analyst to senior analyst, with at least 2-2.5 years per role, not job-hopping) - Strong written communication - able to explain your reasoning and go three layers deep on why you made specific decisions - Clear spoken English (accent doesn't matter) - Ownership mindset and strategic thinking - not the type who only executes when told what to do - Accountable, hardworking, driven, with a strong willingness to learn and upskill Requirements - Willingness and ability to be client-facing (join calls, present work, etc.) - Experience working directly with enterprise or high-growth consumer brands Benefits - $3,500-$4,000 per month* - Full-time & fully remote - Unlimited PTO - Flexibility in exchange for accountability and performance - Work with the best companies in technology across healthcare, fintech, and SaaS *Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.

Qualifications - Significant experience in brand strategy, communications planning, creative strategy, customer strategy, consumer behavioral psychology, consulting, or a related discipline. - A strong track record of leading strategic work across complex, multidisciplinary engagements and with cross-functional marketing teams. - Experience developing positioning, messaging architectures, audience personas, narrative frameworks, campaign strategies, and creative briefs. - Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement. - Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities. - Proven ability to align diverse stakeholders around strategic direction and organizational priorities. - Curiosity about culture, behavior, technology, and the forces shaping how people make decisions. - Experience using AI as a tool to make our research and deliverables smarter and more efficient. - Primary and secondary research experience and demonstrated ability to use the data to unlock insights that drive program design. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, market research, journalism, sociology or related fields (applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education). - 10+ years of experience developing and leading brand, communications, customer experience, or business strategies within agencies, consultancies, or client organizations. - Must be able to pass a background check and secure public trust clearance.
