Key Responsibilities: - Own the day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients. Record transactions, reconcile accounts, and keep ledgers pristine. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that clients can rely on and act on. - Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. - Oversee payroll processing end-to-end, keeping everything compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including payroll taxes and long service leave calculations. - Manage accounts payable and receivable, from invoicing through to collections. - Be the trusted, go-to contact for clients. Answering questions and offering financial insights they actually value. - Work confidently in Xero to manage financial data and generate reports. - Stay ahead of changes in accounting standards and regulations, so our clients always stay compliant. Qualifications - 6+ years of bookkeeping and payroll experience, ideally within a public practice environment. - A rock-solid grasp of bookkeeping principles and best practice. - NDIS Invoicing and payroll experience highly regarded. - Sharp organisational and time management skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Confident, hands-on experience with Xero. - A genuinely high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Clear, confident verbal and written communication. - Just as comfortable working independently and supporting a team.
