The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in delivering enterprise-level initiatives by bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. This role will lead efforts to understand, analyze, and document complex business requirements and ensure that they are translated into high-quality technical solutions. Lead the analysis, documentation, and refinement of business requirements for high-impact, complex initiatives. Serve as a liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing teams throughout the project life cycle. Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs. Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other functional documentation. Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to ensure business needs are reflected in technical designs. Work closely with Agile teams and business stakeholders to ensure all scenarios are properly tested, defects are resolved, and the delivered solution meets business expectations and quality standards. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of both business operations and IT systems, with an ability to translate between the two domains.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to assess and articulate the impact of business decisions across organizational departments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with minimal supervision and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
- Able to comfortably operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple concurrent priorities.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider 8+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, preferably in large-scale or enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in Agile environments, including writing user stories and working within cross-functional scrum teams.
- Prior knowledge/hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence preferred.
- Prior experience with Salesforce Platform is preferred.
- Must have experience operating in Agile SDLC, knowledge of Waterfall is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of process flow charting tools like Visio/LucidChart.
- Physical and Mental Demands
- Work extended hours when necessary.
- Up to 5% travel required.
- Work in a professional home environment using office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens.
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.
