Golang Technical Lead Location: United States Job Description: Information Systems Application / Software Development $ 44 - $ 45 / Hour Your Role Akkodis is seeking a Golang Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high‑performance backend systems and microservices. Rate Range: $44/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Golang Technical Lead Job Responsibilities include: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend systems using Golang. - Define technical architecture, conduct design reviews, and guide solution decisions. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices. - Mentor and guide team members while supporting Agile sprint planning and delivery. - Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure application performance and reliability. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 7-8 years of overall software development experience. - Strong hands‑on expertise in Golang with proven experience building microservices and RESTful APIs. - Prior experience in a technical leadership role, mentoring teams and driving architecture and delivery decisions.
