BI Engineer, Microsoft Fabric

Spyrosoft

• Design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric • Build and optimize Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and analytics solutions • Develop data pipelines and transformation workflows • Create semantic models and reporting solutions using Power BI • Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems • Ensure data quality, performance and scalability across analytics platforms • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements • Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects and Analytics teams • Follow engineering best practices, including CI/CD and version control • Contribute to solution architecture and technical improvements • For Lead-level candidates: provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and support solution design and customer discussions

Job Requirements

  • Commercial experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Previous experience with Power BI and/or Data Engineering
  • Experience building Business Intelligence and analytics solutions
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience developing semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric workloads such as Lakehouse, Data Factory, Data Warehouse and Power BI
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Fluent English - C1
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with PySpark or Spark
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview
  • Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certifications
