• Reporting to the Director, BI and Data Operations, the Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute to data-driven insights and actionable recommendations that support organizational priorities • Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to understand the challenges each team faces and determine how data and process improvements can best address them • Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards based on business requirements and user needs, gathered directly from stakeholders across the organization • Leverage AI tools such as Claude to create reports, analyses, data visualizations, and tools that extend beyond traditional Salesforce capabilities • Identify and resolve data quality issues as they arise, utilizing tools such as Salesforce, Claude, Excel, and Tableau • Collaborate with our Data Operations team as needed to investigate and address root causes • Evaluate business processes, gather and document requirements, and work with peers within the Data and Technology team to implement solutions that drive efficiency • Lead ongoing reviews and improvements of priority business processes across departments, partnering closely with department leads to understand needs and drive alignment • Serve as both project lead and project team member depending on the initiative, managing projects independently from planning through completion, including regular communication of project status with relevant stakeholders • Manage competing priorities and resources while monitoring deliverables to ensure timely completion • Conduct user acceptance testing and incorporate feedback to validate that solutions meet business needs before deployment • Translate data findings and process knowledge to support the Technology Enablement team in producing formal documentation • Conduct meetings and presentations to share findings and next steps, and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership • Coach and guide end users on Salesforce reporting and interpreting data outputs to build data literacy across the organization.

Role Description UTHealth Houston is seeking an Epic Business Intelligence Analyst II to work with our Epic operations team. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the triage of analytics requests and deciding which reporting tools to use as new data needs arise, including but not limited to: - Clarity and Caboodle reports - Extract Framework: Metrics - Benchmarking - Radar - Analytics Catalog - Registry Framework - Data marts - Reporting Workbench - SlicerDicer - Tableau Works closely with all levels of staff and customers to translate business needs into requirements, key performance indicators, design specifications, and implementation plans to meet UTHealth Houston's needs. This role requires someone who is already certified in Cogito Fundamentals and Cogito Tools Administration. The analyst serves as a data modeling resource for our clinical areas. This is a remote role for the most part. There may be times when an employee needs to come in for launches or specific meetings, but we can accommodate a fully remote schedule for the right candidate. That being said, UTHealth Houston currently strongly prefers that employees either reside in the State of Texas or relocate to Texas within three months of accepting a role. • Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards supporting healthcare, financial, and operational analytics. • Develop and optimize semantic models, relationships, measures, and calculated columns. • Create and maintain complex DAX measures aligned to healthcare KPIs such as utilization, claims, eligibility, quality, and financial performance. • Partner with business and clinical stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, actionable analytics. • Ensure BI solutions follow best practices for performance, scalability, usability, and security. • Administer the Power BI Service, including workspace configuration, security, dataset refreshes, user access, and row-level security. • Monitor report and dataset performance and resolve refresh, gateway, and licensing issues. • Establish and maintain Power BI standards, documentation, and governance practices. • Support deployments across development, test, and production environments. • Perform other duties as assigned in support of analytics and business initiatives.

• Lead complex Business Intelligence projects from discovery through delivery with minimal supervision. • Design, build, and optimise dashboards used by senior leadership and Revenue Operations. • Develop and maintain high-quality SQL models within Snowflake. • Work closely with Revenue Operations to deliver reporting across pipeline, bookings, ARR, CARR, churn, expansion, forecasting, and sales performance. • Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into Shiftmove's GTM reporting ecosystem, ensuring data is accurately mapped into our existing Snowflake and Tableau environment. • Partner with Salesforce administrators and business stakeholders to ensure reporting accurately reflects commercial processes. • Validate business rules, investigate data discrepancies, and maintain trusted reporting. • Document data models, business logic, and reporting standards to ensure long-term maintainability. • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and self-service capabilities.
