Lead Architect – Clinical Program
CVS Health
• Define and execute architectural strategies aligned with project objectives • Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas • Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices • Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions • Assess new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption where applicable • Play a key leadership role in architecture design reviews and identify gaps and recommend design changes • Actively lead and participate in the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for Healthcare Business Unit while keeping in mind the complexities of our IT landscape.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect)
- Strong experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks (Angular/JavaScript)
- Strong experience in understanding non-functional requirements (SLA, response time, real time, near real time, multi-threading)
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- 5+ years of SQL, NoSQL, Redis and any relevant database experience
- 5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices, and API design
- Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git) and Kafka
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, especially Generative AI and LLMs
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
