Job Description It's an exciting time here at Nexthink, one of exponential growth and transformation. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee multiple financial functions, translating our financial strategies into action, plans, reporting requirements, procedures, and processes. The expectation of this individual is that they will be responsible for global oversight of the Company's accounting processes, technical accounting, and reporting, consolidation, and reporting, financial systems, internal and external audits, etc. The impact expected from this role is to reduce and mitigate risk for the global organization - beyond just finance. It will be essential to develop relationships with senior leadership across the organization to improve the product to the finance organization's internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities - Oversee the global accounting organization, spanning controllership, accounting, audit, tax, and financial systems - Manage the audit process. Support and coordinate all internal and external audit activity - Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes including consolidation - Ensures that all financial statements and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner - Manages all accounting operations including - AP, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash, and Intercompany Accounting - Interface with finance resources in a variety of countries and time zones to coordinate the global financial close process. - Develop and oversee accounting policies and procedures - Gather, interpret, and deliver insights that shape financial strategic decision making, including USGAAP, International GAAP, and local GAAP, i.e. ASC 606 - Develop, execute, and maintain/monitor global financial systems and processes - Support external reporting as needed, providing significant guidance and oversight - Support M&A work, identify possible issues and necessary remediation steps, due-diligence, deal structure terms, develop and lead accounting integrations plans - Establish clear governance rules and execute governance monitoring of financial reporting platform (Finance Data and Reports) that is efficient and supports a consistent best in class tool utilization - Manage and collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to deliver strategic projects and solutions in a cost-effective manner. - Provide input into the roadmap and future planning efforts for Financial Systems with goal of more efficient processes, lower support costs, and alignment to company objectives - Assess existing financial systems and the recommendation and implementation of new systems and expanded functionality - Interaction with the Executive Team is expected to be frequent and will include reporting on financials, analysis of trends and variances - Work closely with FP&A team on reporting efforts related to senior leadership presentations, budgeting, monthly forecasting, and reporting of actuals - Leverage AI to drive operational excellence and data analytics, Qualifications - BS/MS in Accounting or Finance - CPA required - Minimum of 15 years of accounting experience, preferably experience from both a publicly traded company and private equity - Netsuite experience a must have - Led, managed and developed a high performing accounting team, driving performance by setting goals and development plans and fostering an environment to achieve those goals through ongoing feedback - Prior experience being a change agent, developing and implementing processes and procedures where needed - Leverage prior experience to set improvement and efficiency initiatives in place to bring the global accounting function to a best-in-class operation - A true Subject Matter Expert and primary contact point for significant or unusual accounting transactions, monthly/quarterly/annual results, risks to the financial results The base salary for thi s role is $245,000 - $290,000 gross per year in addition to being eligible for an annual performance bonus.
