Marketing Automation Manager

• Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing execution for Labs, including nurture journeys, drip campaigns, webinar campaigns, lifecycle product updates, and multi-channel engagement programs. • Build, deploy, QA, and optimize omni-channel journeys in Iterable across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. • Use segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, and handlebar logic to make sure users receive timely, relevant, and accurate communications. • Own and evolve A/B testing, personalization, and optimization roadmaps focused on improving engagement, conversion rates, and customer lifecycle outcomes. • Analyze campaign performance, interpret data, and translate insights into clear recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness. • Scope data events, fields, and campaign requirements in Iterable, partnering with Data Engineering and other stakeholders to make sure the right data is available and usable. • Partner with Labs and Marketing stakeholders to map campaign cadences, identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and recommend better approaches to channel mix, timing, and customer experience.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Iterable or a closely related marketing automation platform such as Klaviyo, Marketo, or HubSpot.
- Proven experience building and optimizing lifecycle journeys, nurture campaigns, drip campaigns, webinar campaigns, and multi-channel communications.
- Experience owning A/B testing roadmaps, personalization strategies, segmentation, and data-based optimization to improve conversion rates and engagement.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance and turn findings into practical next steps.
- Strong logic and problem-solving skills, especially in campaign architecture, audience targeting, personalization, QA, and troubleshooting.
- Confidence operating as a senior IC in a fast-moving environment, with the ability to own work, communicate tradeoffs, and stand behind well-reasoned recommendations.

- Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Product, Marketing, or other cross-functional teams to define campaign data needs, eventing requirements, or customer journey logic.
- Experience working in healthcare, labs, practitioner, patient, or regulated customer journeys.
- Previous people leadership experience with a preference to return to a hands-on senior IC role.
- Familiarity with AI or automation tooling such as n8n, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
