Job Description

Staff Technical Product Manager – Identity and Resource Management

Scout Motors Inc.

• You will own the roadmap and strategy for two interconnected product areas: • Define and drive the product vision for a unified identity layer that represents a range of digital entities, including internal operations teams, customers, fleet partners, and vehicles. • Own strategy and execution of products that determine who can access what across internal systems, customer applications, vehicles, fleet portals, charging infrastructure, and other connected services. • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their needs around access control, granularity, and flexibility. • Translate those needs into product requirements and collaborate with engineering to architect solutions that scale across complex digital ecosystems. • Work with other product managers and business stakeholders to understand how the platform can support their products, who their users are, how they will interact with the system, and what integrations are required. • Track delivery, surface interdependencies and roadblocks, and guide the rollout and adoption across digital product teams and vehicle asset managers. • Own the product enabling internal users to track and manage the allocation and use of resources such as vehicle inventory and logistics capacity. • Define the intelligent workflows, data models, and integrations that are genuinely useful for the people running daily operations. • Partner closely with Security & Compliance, Engineering, Legal, Design, and a range of internal operations and customer-facing teams. Influence and drive architecture decisions without direct authority over engineering.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on identity, authentication, and access management.
  • Background in enterprise SaaS or large-scale B2B platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments, particularly those subject to SOC 2 and GDPR compliance requirements, is required.
  • You should have a track record of shipping technical products that serve multiple internal teams and stakeholders, and comfort navigating both greenfield work and products already at varying stages of development.
  • Deep familiarity with modern identity and access management concepts and technologies, including:
  • Zero Trust architecture principles
  • Identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, or equivalent
  • Federation protocols (SAML, OIDC) and provisioning standards (SCIM)
  • Hybrid access models combining role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC)
  • Designing processes and systems for provisioning, maintaining, and auditing access in multi-tenant environments
  • Non-human identity patterns, including service accounts and scoped permissioning for AI agents and automated services.

Benefits

  • Competitive insurance including:
  • Medical, dental, vision and income protection plans
  • 401(k) program with:
  • An employer match and immediate vesting
  • Generous Paid Time Off including:
  • 20 days planned PTO, as accrued
  • 40 hours of unplanned PTO and 14 company or floating holidays, annually
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave for biological and adoptive parents of all genders
  • Paid leave for circumstances related to bereavement, jury duty, voting time, or military leave

You'll work directly with our founders, engineering team, business leaders, and consultants to turn Veroa's product vision into products people genuinely want to use. You'll help build the next generation of AI-powered learning and workforce technology, creating products that make learning more personalized, practical, measurable, and integrated into the way people actually work. What You'll Do - Translate the founders' product vision into clear roadmaps and priorities. - Lead products from discovery through launch and continuous iteration. - Work with consultants, internal teams, and customers to understand how people learn and work, and turn those insights into product opportunities. - Build AI-powered learning and workforce products that improve skill development, talent assessment, workforce intelligence, hiring, and operations. - Write clear product requirements and partner closely with engineering on technical tradeoffs, feasibility, and sequencing. - Translate complex workflows, data, and AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences. - Define success metrics and use research, analytics, and experimentation to improve product and learning outcomes. - Establish product processes and development rhythms as the company grows. - Use AI throughout your workflow to accelerate research, prototyping, analysis, and product development. Role Description Own Application Intelligence at Userlane. You'll shape what we build across App Discovery, HEART Analytics and Portfolio Overview to help enterprise CIOs and IT leaders see where software spending delivers value and where it creates waste. You'll work on opportunities such as: - Defining metrics that hold up: Own the methodology behind our HEART Analytics, deciding what each score measures, how it's calculated, and how it stays credible when data is incomplete. - Delivering outcome-linked metrics: Connect usage data to business outcomes like cost savings, efficiency and compliance risk that enterprise executives can take action on. - Building for time-poor executives: Design analytics that bring insights to leaders and answers "what should I do?" not just "what happened?". - Connecting fragmented data sources: Define the integration strategy to combine Userlane behavioural data with cost data from SAM tools, license data from IT asset management and employee data from HR systems. - Transforming insights into action: Define what turns raw usage data into insights that drive action, not just dashboards people look at once. - AI adoption governance: Extend analytics to measure how AI assistants and agents affect productivity, cost and ROI. Qualifications - 5+ years of product management experience on data/analytics products within a modern product organisation. - Defined a metrics methodology, scoring system or measurement framework that others build on. - Comfortable reasoning about why one calculation approach produces misleading results in a specific scenario. - Start with the business question, not the data. - Ability to hold ground and engage with technically strong colleagues and leaders. - Capable of holding credible conversations with data engineers and data scientists. - Experience in enterprise B2B (not B2C product analytics); healthcare experience is a strong plus. - Ability to figure out what works by talking to customers and observing product usage. - Capable of explaining concepts to engineers, salespeople, support agents, and CEOs alike. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). Benefits - A high-performance culture with great leadership and a fun, engaged, motivated and diverse team with people from over 20 countries. - Part of an empowered cross-functional team given the freedom and autonomy to solve real customer problems. - Work directly with our VP Product to shape our 2026-2030 strategy as we expand into new sectors. - Userlane is among the global leaders in the rapidly growing Digital Adoption industry. - Expect weekly 121s, a personalised skills assessment and development plan, on-the-job coaching, and budget for events and training. - Flexible benefits related to savings and security, health and well-being, and lifestyle and leisure.
