• As an Engineering Lead, you will take technical responsibility for complex software projects in an enterprise environment. • You will work closely with Product, Design, our founders, and our customers, supporting projects from technical conception through successful delivery. • Among other things, you will: assume technical responsibility for demanding customer projects and deliver them successfully together with customers, Product and Engineering. • Prepare and lead technical workshops with customers and partners. • Work through architecture, security, compliance, and integration questions together with various stakeholders and develop robust, viable solutions. • Translate complex requirements into architectural decisions, technical concepts, and actionable tickets. • Identify technical risks early and develop pragmatic solutions. • Actively contribute to backend, web, mobile, and integration solutions and personally oversee key implementations. • Conduct code reviews and continuously improve the technical quality of our platform. • Share technical responsibility for our platform with our existing Senior Engineer and actively share knowledge. • Document technical decisions clearly and communicate them transparently.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Flex platform services on AWS, following microservices architecture principles • Build and maintain highly scalable, distributed systems with a strong focus on reliability and performance • Write automated unit and integration tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling • Refactor and reduce technical debt; uphold engineering standards across code reviews and design discussions • Collaborate with product and engineering peers to influence roadmap priorities and propose architectural solutions • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies, ensuring sprint commitments are met. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently or with your team in your domain. • Document systems and contribute to runbooks, design docs, and operational playbooks. • Rapidly acquire new skills in a fast-paced environment with evolving infrastructure and business requirements

• Teaching the following modules and learning areas: LPIC-1 Linux Administrator (including exam preparation). • Linux Essentials. • Learning area "Providing networks and services". • Learning area "Provisioning services and automating administrative tasks". • Learning area "Ensuring operation and security of networked systems".

• Responsible for all phases of software development including specification, design, implementation, test, deployment of software that supports Adaptive’s production software systems. • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues • All other duties as assigned
