This is a remote position. - Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. - Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members. - Work for the IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System). - Follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach. - Collaborate with multiple agency stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of created reports for Texas’s 1200 school districts. - Design and build production Java applications. - Handle complex system architecture decisions. - Documentation and Dev/Unit Testing. - Participate in Agile development.
