Bilingual Nurse Practitioner, Virtual
Elevance Health
• Provides urgent health care via telephone and tele video modalities to patients • Develops and implements clinical plans of care for adult patients facing chronic and complex conditions • Gathers history and physical exam and diagnostics as needed • Identifies and closes gaps in care • Meets the patient’s and family’s physical and psychosocial needs • Educates patients and families about medication usage, side effects, illness progression, diet, and nutrition • Maintains contact with other clinical team members and other medical providers to coordinate optimal care and resources • Maintains patient medical records and medical documentation • Participates in continuing education as required by state and certifying body • Prescribes medication as permitted by state prescribing authority
Job Requirements
- Requires an MS in Nursing
- Requires an active national NP certification
- Requires valid, current, active and unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the states of Texas, Iowa, or Kansas
- Requires valid, current, active, RN Compact license
- Requires 2+ years of experience in managing complex care cases
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) required
- Bilingual or Multi-language skills required
- Bilingual Spanish preferred

About the Role OutcomesAI is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Virtual Registered Nurses to provide patient triage and navigation through AI-powered workflows. In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise and assessment skills to guide patients safely to the right level of care—leveraging AI technology that enhances your workflow, prioritization, and documentation. This position combines the art of nursing assessment with the science of structured decision support. You’ll evaluate patient-reported symptoms, apply evidence-based triage protocols, and ensure timely escalation to the appropriate care setting.
