Role Description We are actively seeking a Salesforce Business System Analyst for one of our direct clients in Santa Clara, CA. Location: Remote or Santa Clara, CA. Contract: Long Term. - Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, rules, workflows and other Salesforce.com objects and functions. - Monitor and manage logs/errors for back end system integrations with SFDC. - Translate business requirements into system solutions. - Analyse and determine application and interface solutions. - Design and develop complex reports as needed. - Drive and execute functional design, testing, change management and end user acceptance for projects and enhancements as needed. - Interface with relevant teams to support day-to-day systems and interfaces issues related to existing application solutions. - Responsible for creating, managing, and communicating comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for all Sales driven Salesforce.com and third-party integration enhancements and projects. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure enhancements and projects are prioritized, feasible, developed, tested, deployed, and communicated as scheduled. - May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Experience with ancillary Marketing applications that may interface with Salesforce.com. - Design and implementation experience with Salesforce.com, Partner Communities, Marketing Cloud or Marketo. - Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Lightning. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive delivery and execution. - Ability to drive business consensus and simplify processes and designs. - Ability to document interfaces and data flows. Role Description The Salesforce Report Writer/Analyst partners with University of Rhode Island Foundation (URIF) staff to understand reporting and business intelligence needs and develop solutions that transform data into actionable insights. Reporting to the Gift Management & Reporting Director, this position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support fundraising success, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making across the Foundation. The Report Writer leverages Salesforce, Apsona, Power BI, and other reporting tools to deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful information that advances the Foundation's mission. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with Foundation stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze reporting and dashboard requirements. - Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Salesforce (Kindsight/Affinaquest), Apsona, Power BI, and related tools. - Translate complex business requirements and data into clear, actionable reporting solutions. - Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data presented in reports and dashboards. - Develop reporting solutions that effectively address Foundation management questions and business needs. - Provide user support, training, and guidance related to report access, interpretation, and self-service reporting capabilities. - Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate data delivery, and enhance business intelligence capabilities. - Assist in establishing reporting standards, documentation, and best practices. - Partner with Advancement Operations staff to support ongoing data governance and reporting initiatives.
