AVP / VP, Settlement Consulting
Brown & Brown Insurance
• Maintains extensive, technical knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance. • Provides leadership in MSP compliance, product development, and instructional design. • Ensures expert application of Medicare Secondary Payer statutes. • Participates in the definition and development of MSP related corporate policies, procedures and processes. • Performs Settlement Consultant and strategy functions for all IMPAXX customers. • Answers questions regarding allocation, specific product, or MSP compliance in general. • Assists sales team and marketing department with educating customers on product offerings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; JD preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation or Liability insurance industry
- Working knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Statute preferred
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in PowerPoint
- Exceptional professional face to face and telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
