Senior Full-Stack Developer

• design, build, deploy, and maintain complex full-stack features • own features from technical discovery through production and ongoing optimization • design scalable solutions across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure • write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while promoting best practices • partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and Engineers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions • improve application performance, scalability, observability, and production reliability • mentor other engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance • contribute to both automated and manual testing practices

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
  • strong expertise building modern web applications across frontend and backend technologies
  • strong production experience with Ruby on Rails, API development, and scalable backend architectures
  • deep understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL and NoSQL), performance optimization, and software architecture principles
  • experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control, and building reliable production systems
  • proactive mindset with excellent communication skills, strong product thinking, and the ability to work autonomously in cross-functional teams
  • experience supporting and mentoring other engineers while contributing to technical decision-making and engineering culture
