• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and other engineers, to develop scalable and high-performance systems. • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and design solutions that optimize workflows and address complex technical challenges. • Work with large datasets, ensuring efficient processing, manipulation, and analysis. • Contribute to architectural decisions, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to technical problems. • Mentor and guide junior team members to promote growth and knowledge sharing within the engineering team. • Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve system performance and scalability. • Maintain a strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Establish the team's operating model: card workflow in Jira, ceremonies, definition of ready/done, prioritization, and visibility for stakeholders • Raise the standard of technical excellence: code reviews, testing, documentation, managed technical debt, and clear acceptance criteria • Prepare the team to serve multiple business areas: demand intake model, capacity planning, internal SLAs, and stakeholder communication • Drive the use of AI in the development cycle (Claude Code and similar), measuring real productivity gains — not adoption for the sake of adoption • Provide technical oversight of deliveries at a detailed level: solution architecture, integration decisions, risks, and trade-offs • Develop team members together with the existing technical leadership

• Develop, maintain and evolve Full Stack applications, working on both front-end and back-end components. • Develop solutions using Java, ensuring quality, performance and adherence to development best practices. • Develop, optimize and maintain SQL queries, views and stored procedures in relational databases. • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment. • Build and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Develop solutions based on microservices architecture. • Build integrations using REST APIs and JSON. • Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. • Work in cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform). • Monitor application performance and availability using observability tools. • Ensure scalability, security, availability and resilience of applications. • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve solutions.

• Own and deliver medium-to-large FinOps projects end-to-end — from design through production — as a hands-on senior IC. • Build deep expertise in FinOps systems and business context (Stripe, LayerFi, Cherry, and related billing/payments workflows), becoming a trusted technical resource for the team. • Participate actively in Moxie's Engineering Architecture Process, contributing to and influencing technical decisions within your domain. • Own at least one team- or domain-level non-project initiative — such as testing standards, documentation, or code review practices — that raises engineering quality beyond your own projects. • Mentor IC1–IC2 engineers and act as a culture carrier for strong engineering practices, growing toward Staff (IC-4) scope over time.
