• 75% Focus on AI & Chat: The core of the role is validating that the chat interface accurately understands user intent and that the LLM responses are precise. • Total Autonomy: You will operate as the only QA engineer on the project, fully owning and defining the testing strategy without needing day-to-day direction. • Direct Technical Collaboration: You will actively participate in daily scrums to report behaviors, work side-by-side with developers to troubleshoot data/schema issues, and retest fixes. • Structured Documentation: You are responsible for creating clear, logical, and well-structured QA documentation and test plans.
Job Requirements
- Senior Standalone QA Experience: A strong track record as a manual tester working completely on your own with high agency and self-direction.
- LLM Vetting & Prompt Iteration: Prior experience working with language models. You must understand how they generate responses, their unique challenges, and how to tweak prompts to get accurate outputs.
- Data & Schema Literacy: Comfort analyzing data and backend schemas to effectively troubleshoot bugs side-by-side with backend engineers.
- High-Level Communication: Fluent and proactive communication skills to stay tightly aligned with the development team.
