Job Description

Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

• Providing high intensity CBT sessions on a 1-2-1 basis, you will treat clients referred from our insurance business who need support with their mental health and wellbeing. • Working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns. • To provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes. • To deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention. • To ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client. • To provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference. • To adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team. • To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals.

Job Requirements

  • Full Accreditation with British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
  • Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) which is BABCP accredited
  • At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions, working with clients who have a range of presentations
  • IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems
  • Diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon
  • Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
