As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating the best and least expensive sources (vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers of goods and services). You will negotiate the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) product costs and/or services with approved suppliers. You will work cross-functionally to lead sourcing initiatives. Lead sourcing events from planning through vendor engagement, evaluation, and selection Ensure cost competitiveness and high service levels within assigned categories Implement efficient strategies and processes for transactional and strategic buying activities Take lead and own cost savings initiatives Support internal customers by identifying and maintaining relationships with major suppliers and industry analysts Build relationships with business leaders and other business units and functions Manage and lead functional teams involved in sourcing initiatives Formulate and track key metrics associated with assigned categories
Job Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain or a Business related field is required
- Masters’ Degree in Supply Chain or a Business related field is required
- 6 years of relevant experience utilizing best practice category management and strategic sourcing processes
- 5 years of demonstrated ability to manage medium to large global IT projects
- 6 years of collaborating with business operations and functional groups
- 6 years of preferred experience overseeing the design and implementation of a strategic sourcing function transformation
- 5 years of ERP systems’ exposure is preferred
- 5 years of solid knowledge and support of Procure 2 Pay processes is preferred
- Experience in negotiating contracts and knowledge of key contractual language is required
- Experience with online sourcing platforms is required
- Financial acumen to develop complex financial models, including Total Cost of Ownership models is required
- Practical problem-solving approach to business issues, business-minded, results-oriented, and a team player is required
- Ability to influence individuals and teams with or without reporting relationships is required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills are required

Position Summary: The In-house CRA II provides overall support to study sites and clinical project teams engaged in clinical research studies.
