Kaplan Test Prep
• Review batches of exam questions provided by the Kaplan Content Specialist. • Evaluate questions against a provided checklist, ensuring they accurately reflect the style, content, and difficulty of the official exam. • When needed, make necessary revisions and improvements to questions to enhance their quality and exam relevance. • Submit marked-up Google Docs for each batch, clearly tracking all changes using Google Docs' Track Changes feature. • Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and current with the latest Certified Professional Coder Exam specifications. • Adhere to Kaplan's requested style guide in all revisions and submissions. • Participate in Kaplan's standard content review cycle, addressing feedback on clarity, accuracy, formatting, and presentation. • Rephrase and revise content to align with test-likeness. • Respond to all review queries within 2 business days, or earlier if requested. • Adhere to specified timelines for each batch of questions, as communicated by the Content Specialist.
Job Requirements
- Active Certified Professional Coder certification or higher in the relevant field.
- Demonstrated deep understanding of official exam content, professional domain knowledge, and the exam format.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written communication and editing skills.
- Proficiency in using Google Docs and Google Drive.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet access and communication methods.
- Prior experience in instructional content development, particularly for the relevant exam.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience in the relevant subject area.
- Familiarity with principles of effective test question design.

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work. The position opening is for expansion due to increased volume and is eligible for remote work. This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3am) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academic), equating to 121 clinical shifts per year. 17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year! Remote from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. The evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees. The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging, with the option to read other emergency imaging exams if preferred. A separate evening neuroradiologist will be responsible for neuroradiology work. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, function well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work collaboratively. Participation in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision, is expected. Opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary are available if desired.

Role Description The Utilization Management (UM) Coordinator supports the coordination, processing, and administrative functions of the utilization review process. This role ensures timely and appropriate review of healthcare services in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements, working closely with UM nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. - Receive, review, and process incoming requests for authorization of medical services. - Coordinate with providers, members, and internal clinical staff to gather necessary documentation for utilization reviews. - Enter authorization requests and updates into the utilization management system accurately and promptly. - Track and monitor pending authorizations to ensure timely processing and communication of decisions. - Collaborate with nurses and physicians to facilitate medical necessity reviews and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines. - Provide notification of determination (approvals or denials) to providers and members in accordance with regulatory timeframes. - Maintain accurate and organized records to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory bodies (e.g., NCQA, CMS, Health Plans). - Assist in audits and quality improvement activities as needed. - Serve as a liaison between internal departments, providers, and external vendors. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times.
