Data Warehouse Director
MultiTech
Role Description The Data Warehouse Director is responsible for designing, developing, and managing MultiTech’s enterprise data warehouse and analytics infrastructure. This role ensures the availability, integrity, and performance of data systems that support operations, supply chain management, inventory control, and quality initiatives across the organization. - Design and maintain data warehouse architecture and business intelligence platforms: assure data quality, efficient data retrieval, and scalability. - Lead initiatives to optimize data extraction and transformation, supporting business strategies with data-driven decision making. - Partner with senior leadership to translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting needs. - Develop and deliver reporting solutions aligned with key operational and financial performance indicators. - Identify and consult on opportunities for AI and process innovation. - Collaborate with Finance to ensure consistency between operational data and financial reporting. - Collaborate with IT on system integration, infrastructure, security, and data governance. - Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing and analytics. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered. - 10+ years’ experience in Sales Operations or supply chain related roles. Manufacturing experience a plus. - 5+ years’ experience in data warehouse design, implementation, data modeling. - 5+ years’ experience in SQL and business intelligence software platforms. - Expert business acumen in manufacturing, supply chain, inventory management, and financial reporting/functions. - Experience working with data warehouse applications built on ERP, WMS or supply chain platforms is strongly preferred. - Advanced proficiency in SQL and cloud-based data warehouses with platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake). - Strong proficiency in business intelligence software or visualization tools. - Proven ability to translate disparate data into performance dashboards based on business objectives and KPIs. - AI development and application experience a strong plus. Requirements - Lifting requirements up to 25 pounds. - Requires sitting for periods of time and occasional standing. - Requires travel using all modes of transportation. - Requires a valid passport. Work Environment - Remote position. - Our Minnesota facility includes a manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. - Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock. - Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. - No food is allowed in the manufacturing area. - No cell phone use allowed in manufacturing area unless approved by management.
