Mental Health Specialist
Sword Health
• Conduct clinical intake calls and assess member needs, goals, and program fit • Work with Phoenix, our AI Care Specialist, by overseeing AI-supported interactions and ensuring clinical quality and safety • Deliver member support via synchronous and asynchronous chat • Conduct short and long video-calls with members • Monitor member progress using measurement-based care (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) • Identify and respond to risk signals, including escalation and referral when needed • Document care in line with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards • Support development of Standard Operating Procedures to help scale member care operations
Job Requirements
- PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
- PSYPACT eligibility, or a current license to practice in California
- Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology independently
- Strong background in evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT)
- Readiness to practice in an AI-native care model, where the standards of practice are still being defined
- Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment where change is the norm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships in a remote care setting
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms
