Senior Architecture Advisor
The Cigna Group
• Plan and design large technology systems that are secure, reliable, and easy to maintain • Create and maintain clear system plans, diagrams, and technical standards • Guide technology teams on best practices, tools, and modern platforms such as cloud services • Design scalable solutions, including cloud-based systems, APIs, and connected services • Work with business partners to understand needs and turn them into technical requirements • Ensure systems follow company standards, policies, and security guidelines • Help improve system performance and reduce technical issues • Mentor and support junior architects and engineers by sharing knowledge and guidance
Job Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in technology, system design, software, or infrastructure
- At least 3+ years in a senior, lead, or advisory role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of system architecture, APIs, and databases
- Understanding of secure and scalable system design
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to explain technical ideas in simple terms
- Comfortable guiding teams and influencing technical decisions
