Intern, Email Design

Road Scholar

• Design/build, edit and launch 3-4 emails campaign proofs per week using established drag-and-drop templates • Select, edit and update photos for use in email campaigns and web collections • Transform manuscripts into polished and digestible enews content, using Road Scholar’s existing brand guidelines • Provide creative support to and take direction from senior designers in producing high-quality digital assets for email and more. • Present your work to marketing leadership at the end of your internship

Job Requirements

  • Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take and implement feedback, and prioritize work
  • An interest in clean typography with an emphasis on user experience and accessibility
  • A willingness to learn and enthusiasm to help wherever you can
  • An online or digital portfolio (ok to include college work)
  • Preferred: experience with HTML/CSS
  • Preferred: majoring in digital design, illustration, web or UX design, or another related field

  • A flat stipend of $3,840.00 is paid for this internship. The stipend is paid at 50% halfway through the internship and the other 50% after successful completion of the internship.

Role Description The Instructional Designer plays a key role in supporting the design, development, and delivery of high-quality learning experiences across Hayes/Knight-Swift Warehousing & Fulfillment. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or curriculum design. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. - Proficiency in e-learning development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS – Cornerstone OnDemand preferred). - Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and learning experience design (LXD). - Excellent writing, communication, and collaboration skills. - Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing software) is a plus. - Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
