Role Description As an Observability & Service Management solution consultant, you will play a critical role in driving sales and helping prospects understand the strategic value of OpenText's Observability & Service Management solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their IT ecosystems and business needs, providing a comprehensive view of how OpenText’s solutions can support their digital transformation journey. Your ability to communicate the value of OpenText solutions and guide customers in realizing their full potential will directly contribute to our success in complex, high-impact environments. This role will be Virtual, Germany. What the Role Offers - Support sales teams throughout the sales cycle from discovery to closing, ensuring alignment and becoming a trusted advisor. - Collaborate with customers to develop scalable, adaptable solutions aligned with their evolving business needs. - Work with Account Executives to communicate the value of OpenText’s Observability & Service Management solutions. - Develop technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and deliver tailored customer presentations. - Assist with relationship management, technical sales information, and tools. - Represent OpenText at trade shows and industry events, contributing to the company's visibility. - Lead technical portions of design sessions, creating deliverables and recommended solutions. - Participate in scoping, technical RFx responses, and solution development. - Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), managing requirements, coordinating team efforts, and presenting findings. - Analyze data and create innovative solutions that evolve beyond customer requirements. Qualifications - Fluency in German and proficiency in English (CEFR C1/C2 levels). - Experience in a presales role, ideally in a SaaS/Cloud environment or Observability & Service Management IT experience. - Knowledge of IT Operations Management solutions like Observability or Network Management. - Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). - Experience with competitive Observability & Service Management landscape and the ability to create business cases, ROI/TCOs, and proposals. - Proficiency in virtualization and containerization technologies, cloud platforms and/or network technologies. - Solid presentation, time management, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to prioritize, qualify, and provide excellent customer service. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a global mindset. - Self-motivated and committed to excellence.
