E2E Supply Planner

Role Description The E2E Supply Chain Planner role will make an impact by: - Providing planning, procurement, logistics, and oversight for all assigned products (drug product, finished goods, etc.). - Reviewing open Purchase Orders and production schedule with vendors to ensure the requested delivery is met; monitoring shipment schedules and providing actions to mitigate risk. - Establishing strong working relationships with tolling sites to attain optimal levels of production output, minimize costs while adhering to agreed upon production schedules, thereby delivering superior levels of customer service. - Developing and providing tolling site supply performance metrics to VSOT for CM Scorecards in order to track and identify CM performance trends related to customer service. - Monitoring and tracking supply outlook including supply issues resolution and inventory management and deployment. - Participating and collaborating closely within the Virtual Site Operation team (VSOT) on supply/demand changes, pricing changes, vendor/customer issue resolution, contractual issues, allocations, etc. - Developing and updating a rolling 24-month master schedule based on demand forecasts, available capacity, inventory policies, and regulatory requirements. - Ensuring global inventory management policies and processes are adhered to. - Managing allocation for short supply products by collaborating closely with the respective above site API Supply Planning Lead (ASL) and Brand Supply Leads (BSLs) on allocation proposals and informing the allocated quantities to the customer. - Supporting inventory transition planning for new product transfer projects. - Maintaining regular contact with the logistics centers and global planning to resolve demand and supply issues. - Driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes through collaboration with key stakeholders, establishing meeting performance objectives and operational changes. - Collaborating with all other teams within (Intercompany Operations Customer Service, logistics, transport, customs, etc.) and outside Upjohn Global Supply to assure supply and improve efficiency of processes. - Monitoring and coordinating all activities necessary to achieve timely launch for new launch SKUs, e.g., artwork initiation, artwork approval, regulatory approval. Qualifications - Minimum Bachelor's degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Trade or Management) or equivalent experience. - Minimum 2 years working experience in a Supply Chain environment; preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. - Experience in Materials Management and alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Finance is an added value. - Excellent understanding and experience with production planning and inventory management optimization strategies (APICS certification preferred). - Experience in projects that require collaborative approaches. Requirements - Fluent in English (both spoken and written), other languages are an added value. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to participate in teams. - Well-developed interpersonal skills (team member, integrity, flexibility, creativity). - Understanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends, regulatory processes, and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end-to-end global product flows. - Local Logistics market knowledge (LSPs, transport). - Ability to work in a complex matrix organization. - Knowledge and understanding of planning tools and related reporting tools (RapidResponse, SAP, and PowerBI is an advantage). - Strong skills in MS Office® Suite, especially Excel, are required. Usage of MS Access is an asset.
