• In technical pre-sales engagements, support the sales teams through customer meetings, demos, RfX responses and proof of concept activities. • Leverage your cybersecurity background to identify your clients’ needs and implement the most suitable Fortinet solutions. • Help partners and customers to create the best security and network architectures that are tailored to our customers requirements. • Gradually take on responsibility for technical areas or solutions. • On complex opportunities, work together with senior Systems Engineers, Consulting System Engineers (CSEs), Solution Architects, and partners. • Be the lead on customer workshops, technical presentations, and enablement activities • Maintain and continuously expand your knowledge of Fortinet technologies, integrations, and industry trends

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Network Security (e.g. firewalling, SOC, SecOps, cloud security, network engineering)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, routing, switching, SDN) and security concepts (NGFW, IDS/IPS, encryption)
  • Interest in customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting-oriented roles
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to develop presentation and workshop capabilities
  • Self-motivated mindset and ability to work in a dynamic sales-driven environment
  • High level of personal responsibility and ownership of your customer projects
  • Fluency in both German and English and confidence presenting in both languages are essential.
  • Experience with FortiOS or similar security platforms (Nice to Have)
  • Exposure to one or more of the following areas: Data center architectures (ACI, NSX-T), Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Security Operations (SIEM, SOAR, automation)
