Role Description A Trial Attorney is responsible for managing all aspects of litigation cases from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings. Role Description As the leader of an individual litigation team, the Associate Attorney oversees litigation strategies for a high volume consumer debt docket. Opportunity to work remotely for the right candidate. License in multiple states preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform and oversee all settlement negotiations - Review and respond to all court pleadings - Develop and maintain relationships with clients - Maintain a high volume docket - Build relationships with opposing counsel and support staff - Identify both short- and long-term team goals - Supervise collection of necessary client documents - Analyze settlement percentage trends and modify accordingly - Address post-settlement issues - Identify unfair debt collecting practices and file claims in response thereto - Perform other duties as required and assigned The firm currently offers attorneys a monthly incentive program that provides the opportunity to earn up to an additional $600 per month, with a higher tier of up to $1,000 per month available in certain circumstances where volume permits, upon meeting established monthly targets. Please note that this incentive is separate from, and not guaranteed as part of, your base compensation. The firm retains full discretion to modify or discontinue the program at any time. However, this incentive has been consistently offered for over a year, and there are no current plans to eliminate it.
