Title: Real Estate Litigation Attorney - 1837429 Location: New York City, New York, United States Job Description: Our client is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 5 years of Landlord-Tenant/Real Estate Litigation experience to join our firm (location is flexible – Long Island or NYC). This position offers a significant opportunity for direct client interaction and trials with a growing, diverse client base of well-known NYC landlords and developers. Position requirements: - Experience handling NYC based Landlord-Tenant court appearances and preparing predicate notices, including rent demands, termination notices, notices to cure, non-payment and holdover petitions. - Experience drafting pleadings in plenary actions for breach of contract/lease/guaranty. - Experience drafting lease modifications, surrender agreements and other related landlord-tenant agreements. - Experience providing day to day legal advice and counsel to real estate operators of various asset classes with particular focus on NYC region and general focus throughout the US - Landlord/Tenant trial experience a plus. - NYC based real estate experience preferred (residential and commercial). - Commercial/construction litigation experience a plus. Responsibilities include: - Drafting motions for summary judgment and motions to compel - Appearing daily in Landlord-Tenant court to argue motions and try cases Hybrid Hours: Minimum 3 days a week in office. 2 days a week remotely.

Role Description As the leader of an individual litigation team, the Associate Attorney oversees litigation strategies for a high volume consumer debt docket. Opportunity to work remotely for the right candidate. License in multiple states preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform and oversee all settlement negotiations - Review and respond to all court pleadings - Develop and maintain relationships with clients - Maintain a high volume docket - Build relationships with opposing counsel and support staff - Identify both short- and long-term team goals - Supervise collection of necessary client documents - Analyze settlement percentage trends and modify accordingly - Address post-settlement issues - Identify unfair debt collecting practices and file claims in response thereto - Perform other duties as required and assigned The firm currently offers attorneys a monthly incentive program that provides the opportunity to earn up to an additional $600 per month, with a higher tier of up to $1,000 per month available in certain circumstances where volume permits, upon meeting established monthly targets. Please note that this incentive is separate from, and not guaranteed as part of, your base compensation. The firm retains full discretion to modify or discontinue the program at any time.
