Magna is seeking a high-caliber Salesforce Business Analyst to join our consulting team. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between our clients’ complex business challenges and our technical delivery team. You aren't just a documenter; you are a strategic advisor who understands the Salesforce ecosystem and can translate high-level vision into actionable, scalable technical requirements. You will lead the charge from initial discovery through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that every solution we build drives measurable business value and adheres to "Magna" standards of excellence. Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and the delivery team Bring strategy and best practices forward to guide the client in their project journey Lead discovery workshops and process mapping sessions to uncover core business objectives Synthesize multi-unit stakeholder interviews into a unified Salesforce roadmap Draft high-quality user stories with rigorous Acceptance Criteria Maintain the requirement baseline and manage the backlog in partnership with Project Managers Collaborate with Developers during sprints to clarify edge cases and business rules Ensure all requirements are traceable from initial discovery through to final deployment Partner with Solution Architects to ensure designs align with enterprise standards Advocate for Configuration vs. Customization, highlighting risks and tradeoffs of each approach Validate that technical designs accurately reflect the documented business intent Identify downstream impacts on people and processes; support the creation of training materials and release communication Provide clear status updates on requirements and risks to the internal project team and communicate to the Executive Sponsor to bring awareness Proactively identify scope creep and support the formal change control process with the Project Lead
Job Requirements
- Salesforce Expertise preferred; Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.) Salesforce Admin certification preferred
- Consulting Mindset: Proven ability to act as a "trusted advisor" to clients, balancing business advocacy with technical constraints
- Analytical Rigor: Exceptional ability to create detailed process flows, ERDs, and functional documentation
- Agile Proficiency: Experienced in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Communication: Elite verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to "translate" between technical and non-technical audiences
- Confident in working alongside Sales to support discovery and scoping conversations
- Driven to grow expertise and take on greater ownership within the Delivery Team
- 3-5 years relevant experience is preferred
- Permanent US work authorization required. Magna does not currently offer opportunities for sponsorship, OPT or CPT.
