Test Analyst

GFT Technologies

• Design and develop manual and automated test cases; • Analyze business requirements and translate them into test strategies; • Monitor and guide daily activities of L1 and L2 teams, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines; • Perform reviews of test documentation; • Participate in the analysis and resolution of complex defects together with development and business analysis teams; • Lead the preparation of advanced reports and performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders; • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with the client; • Identify automation opportunities and recommend tools to improve the efficiency of testing processes; • Ensure traceability between requirements and executed tests; • Support risk management related to testing activities and report results using appropriate tools;

Job Requirements

  • Advanced experience in creating, executing, and reviewing test cases;
  • Experience with test tracking and management tools such as Jira and Excel;
  • Advanced knowledge of test design techniques, including Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning;
  • Experience creating and maintaining test automation suites, including script optimization and maintenance;
  • Experience planning test campaigns, ensuring requirements traceability, and creating dashboards;
  • Experience preparing Test Plans, Test Reports, and consolidating metrics and lessons learned;
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL;
  • Experience creating test cases from business requirements and ensuring traceability;
  • Knowledge of identifying and managing test-related risks, including record keeping and risk reporting;
  • Advanced Italian and English for interaction with international teams and stakeholders.

DESCRIPTION About the Job The Testing Evaluator position is a remote, on demand, part-time position. The Testing Evaluator assists with testing for language proficiency examinations, interacting with the examinee in the evaluator's native language. Support for proficiency tests may be provided via telephone, video conferencing, or another technology-based medium (recorded audio etc.), depending on the needs of the test. The tests will be evaluated according to given scoring criteria; therefore, paid training is conducted before starting the job. Testing evaluators must be able to accept and use the required scoring procedure and maintain consistent and reliable scoring throughout their employment. They must also be willing to operate in a repetitive task situation and maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities - Perform the test in a professional manner - Follow the process to perform the tasks - Adhere to the guidelines to score the tests - Enter the data on the testing platform in a timely manner - Provide comments and concerns to the testing department - Perform pilot tests - Create and review test items - Perform other similar duties requested by the Operations and Development Testing department POSITION REQUIREMENTS Skills - Strong oral and written communication skills in the target language (target language appears in job title) - Excellent interpersonal skills - Accuracy and attention to detail - Technical communication - Professionalism - Organization - Must have email access with the capability to send and receive attached files, and must be able to navigate the Internet - Computer literacy Education/Training Language: Candidates must possess native fluency in the target language (target language appears in job title). Degree: College Degree. Computer Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Language: A minimum English proficiency level of a 2+/2+ on the ILR proficiency scale. Experience Any combination of training and experience which provides required knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of the position. Salary Current pay range for the position of Testing Evaluator: from $9.00 to $30.00 per test. Actual pay depends on several factors, including but not limited to level of education, knowledge, skills, qualifications, certifications, previous experience in similar positions, market pay rates, comparable salaries, demographic factors, geographical location, jobs availability, budget availability, revenue etc. FULL TIME/PART TIME Contingent BENEFITS Part-time employees are not eligible for ALTA-sponsored benefits.
