Regional Head of Insurance – Housing Sector – Southern Region

Hypoport SE

• New client acquisition: You proactively approach potential clients in the housing sector, present our portfolio and acquire new customers for long-term collaboration. • Existing client management: You advise housing companies on existing and new insurance contracts, with a focus on building, property and liability insurance as well as other corporate insurance products. • Networking: You work closely with the sales teams of our other product areas and leverage this network to drive your sales success. • Fee-based consulting: You support insurance analyses and risk-optimization projects — from analysis of the housing company to development of recommendations and presentation to the client. • Insurance concepts: You develop structured insurance solutions and present them convincingly to managing directors and boards. • Claims processes: You understand your clients' claims handling workflows and can explain and optimize digital processes and integration/interface topics with other systems. • Events: You represent Dr. Klein Wowi Finanz at industry and specialist events and actively maintain your regional network.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification: Insurance clerk or equivalent (m/f/d), ideally with further qualification as a Versicherungsfachwirt (insurance specialist) — required for advisory services under §34d VVG.
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in corporate client business or broker business with a focus on property and liability insurance.
  • Experience in the housing sector is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Sales skills: You proactively approach people, build contacts (also at events) and convince with both professional expertise and personal presence.
  • Empathy & relationship orientation: You have a good feel for your interlocutors, listen attentively and build trust with clients and within the team.
  • Self-organization: You work independently from a home office, structure your sales activities and keep an overview even when handling multiple parallel projects.
  • Communication: Confident demeanor when dealing with managing directors and boards; negotiation-level German (C2).
  • Travel willingness: Willingness to travel regionally within Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Rhineland-Palatinate.
  • Technical affinity: Willingness to understand digital tools and ERP interfaces and to explain them during client conversations.
