Partner Sales Specialist

• Support and optimize back-end partner operations across recruiting, onboarding, growth, and renewals • Continuously improve operational processes to enhance partner experience and internal efficiency • Drive the quote-to-order process for partner deals, including coordination across systems and teams to enable fast and accurate execution • Manage and optimize renewals workflows to improve retention, minimize churn, and enhance forecast accuracy • Establish proactive renewal management practices (e.g., daily/visual management) to prevent late or missed renewals • Design and implement automated workflows to reduce manual effort and increase scalability of partner support • Leverage the Fortive Business System (FBS), Lean, or similar methodologies to continuously improve processes and eliminate waste • Document and evolve standard work for quoting, renewals, and partner operations • Manage lead routing, tracking, and attribution for partner-driven opportunities • Serve as the primary liaison with technical teams for partner portal development, ongoing management, and issue resolution • Drive portal enhancements to improve usability, self-service, and partner engagement • Refine and operationalize the partner onboarding program to accelerate time-to-revenue • Partner with the Enablement team to develop scalable onboarding and training content • Design and implement systems to track onboarding progress, completion rates, and performance • Partner with leadership to operationalize evolving partner program structures, policies and requirements • Ensure systems, processes, and reporting scale to support future program enhancements
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Partner Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations (preferably in a SaaS or channel-driven environment)
- Strong experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and partner portals
- Expert in quote and renewal processing
- Demonstrated expertise in workflow automation, process design, and optimization
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working in ambiguity with aggressive timelines
- Experience supporting channel / partner ecosystems at scale
- Familiarity with deal registration, renewal management, and partner lifecycle workflows
- Experience optimizing or scaling partner programs

About the Position The Public Affairs Sales Director supports the Vice President of Business Development and the Business Development team. Responsible for driving revenue through developing new public affairs relationships while also maintaining and expanding our existing client relationships. Responsible for soliciting and responding to RFPs, developing strategic media budgets and plans, and developing and executing outreach and visibility strategies. Works in conjunction with Business Development to help reach sales quotas within the Public Affairs vertical. Drives revenue through maintaining and expanding existing client relationships and forming new ones. Writes RFPs, budgets, and media plans. Understands job duties and largely works independently but asks for assistance as needed. - Proactively lead the sales process, following up on leads, sourcing RFPs, writing proposals, networking and sourcing new business, and pitching to current and potential clients. - Works with Senior Leadership to set sales goals, and takes accountability for achieving them. - Partner with clients to provide exceptional customer service and creatively solve problems. - Manage outreach to new clients through cold calls and emails - Successfully perform online demos and in-person pitches to achieve new sales - Develop and execute client-focused strategic media plans and associated budgets. - Manage and maintain pre-existing relationships with a network of progressives, media consultants and public affairs firm - Perform other duties as assigned.
