Education Manager
National Bleeding Disorders Foundation
• Design, implement, and evaluate national health education initiatives for people living with bleeding disorders and their support networks • Monitor program progress, contribute to evaluation efforts, and recommend improvements • Manage assigned projects from planning through execution, including reporting requirements and timelines • Develop educational resources and content across various platforms • Create health education strategies, tools, and resources for community partners • Build relationships with Hemophilia Treatment Centers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders • Support volunteer working groups to inform educational initiatives • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues and volunteers for collaborative success
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Public Health, or related discipline), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- 5+ years of experience in health promotion and risk prevention programs preferred
- Demonstrated project management, program development and outcome assessment skills
- Excellent analytical skills and understanding of current issues in public health
- Self-motivated, critical thinker with keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with and influence diverse groups of people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills in a remote environment
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) strongly preferred
