Business Manager

Shawmut Corporation

• Own and manage the end-to-end quoting process for both sample and production quotations. • Ensure receipt of Sample PO and hand over to Program Management for sample production. • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for assigned customer accounts. • Lead contract review processes, including evaluation of award letters, purchase orders, terms & conditions, and other customer documentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Ensure handover of approved program documentation to Program Management. • Develop and maintain detailed cost breakdowns whenever required. • Manage communication with the customer to clarify RFQ information. • Participate in customer meetings and events when required. • Lead the forecasting and budgeting process by consolidating input from Key Account Managers and ensuring accurate system updates (pricing, volumes, SOP/EOP, commercial status etc.). • Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and other cross functional departments to meet customer delivery and quality expectations. • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI. • Perform other related duties as assigned or as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales operations preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier suppliers is strongly preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in process and data management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
