Senior HR Manager – Ecuador Labor Expert

Teamficient

• Fully manage Ecuador-related HR and payroll compliance, including strict coordination of statutory benefits, IESS, SRI-related documentation, employment contracts, and local minister-level labor requirements • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, workforce planning, and organizational structures for large or fast-growing teams • Actively learn and adapt to the local labor practices of other international countries where TeamFicient operates to help align company-wide HR strategy • Manage employee onboarding, orientation, documentation, performance review cycles, and offboarding processes • Serve as the key point of contact for employee relations, workplace concerns, policy guidance, and corrective action processes • Review, improve, and standardize remote HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, templates, and workflows

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree specifically in Human Resources Management (Graduado/a en Recursos Humanos)
  • Strictly fluent and bilingual in both English and Spanish (written and verbal communication skills will be heavily tested)
  • Deep, practical knowledge of Ecuadorian labor laws, IESS, SRI, and local contract structures
  • 5+ years of proven experience in HR leadership, with a track record of managing companies with a large volume of employees
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and proficiency with CRM systems, HRIS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently in a quiet home environment with stable high-speed internet
