Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Homeland Security, National Security, Intelligence, Emergency Management, Public Safety or Criminal Justice, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Professional experience in homeland security and emergency preparedness including various areas such as strategy development and disaster recovery management.
  • Knowledge of emergency management principles, NIMS, FEMA CPG, and HSEEP.
  • Experience in disaster, crisis response planning, EAP, and EOP.
  • Experience teaching adult learners online is strongly preferred.
  • Terminal Degree in Homeland Security or a related field is preferred.
  • Ten years of professional managerial, operations, and/or staff experience in a related field preferred.
