Global Process Engineer – Tooling, Fixtures, Lifting
Switzerland Global Enterprise
• Develop tooling, fixture, and lift fixture process & equipment standards. • Deploy global standards across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders. • Develop, Qualify, and Improve manufacturing processes. • Define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders. • Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including: facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training. • Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes. • Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications. • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improve quality processes. • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to eliminate the problems from re-occurring. • Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization. • Train local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment. • Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Tooling, Fixtures, Material Lifting Devices and Fixtures
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
- Project Management skills and experience
- For Non-US Candidates Only: Significant years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
- Significant years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Tooling, Fixtures, Material Lifting Devices and Fixtures
- Proven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
- Project Management skills and experience
- Fluency in English in writing and speaking
