• bid and secure construction projects • manage the contract work from start to finish including scheduling, cost containment, monitoring progress, compliance, and client contact • seek out/completes bid opportunities through client relationships, networking opportunities, public/private postings, assigned bid opportunities, and various other means • develop and maintain positive working relationships with current clients; responsible for creating relationships with potential future clients • estimate projects for bid submittal by reviewing plans and specifications, calculating quantities, gathering quotes and submittals, constructing the bid, and creating the bid submittal • coordinate pre-construction meetings for projects awarded to ensure communication and coordination between project managers, field, and office support • work with operations staff to coordinate appropriate construction methods and staffing needs • obtain necessary permits and licensing • manage costs by tracking labor, equipment, and materials • manage billing with Project Coordinators to ensure accuracy of invoicing, preparation of payables, accounts receivable collections, approval of accounts payable in a timely manner and management of over/under billing monthly • communicate and is responsible for meeting EEO/DBE project requirements • ensure all aspects of the project are met safely, on/under budget and in the appropriate time frame allowed • use appropriate resources to troubleshoot any project issues that may arise • seek approval for all project change orders (before work is completed) and manage changes to the scope of work to maintain profitability • coordinate efforts and communication with the project owner/general contractor to work toward safe and timely project completion and adjust project scope of work and timelines as needed • assure that Leadership is informed on all matters of relative importance

• Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources • Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP • Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings • Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities • Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures; promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team • Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools • Ensure compliance with U. S. government requirements as applicable • Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables • Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements • Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports

JOB DESCRIPTION As a member of the Solar Due Diligence team, the Project Manager is responsible for managing and executing independent engineering (IE), Owner's Engineering (OE) and Technical Advisory (TA) services to support the financing, sale, or acquisition of solar PV projects and portfolios. This role can be hybrid from Northbrook, IL, Albany, NY, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, Brea, CA, Austin, TX, or remote in the United States. RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage high profile Independent Engineering, Owner's Engineering and Technical Advisory projects for project financing, tax equity, sales and acquisitions of Solar PV and portfolios, , - Reviews of commercial and technical contracts, project schedule, project financial model, CAPEX and OPEX costs, site visits and construction monitoring. - Compile and complete IE, OE and TA reports and summarize key results and conclusions. Ensure a quality of work that meets and exceeds client expectations. - Manage project schedules, risk tracking and document control for key engineering reviews. - Support technical review and approval of EPC submittals, change orders, and interface management across multiple workstreams. - Lead coordination between client, Independent Engineer, EPC contractor and internal technical teams to ensure timely delivery of Owner's Engineering deliverables. - Prepare proposals detailing scope of work, team, budget and schedule for completion. - Ensure project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget. - Work with lenders and developers as the main client interface for UL. Attending client meetings with lenders and developers as needed. - Engage clients and internal staff to develop creative solutions to meet client needs; provide exceptional customer service with a focus on growing client relationships. - Prepare communication plan and related project status reports. - Facilitate and lead regular status meetings with internal project team, sponsors, and stakeholders. - Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies. - Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects. - Represent UL at conferences and business development meetings. QUALIFICATIONS - At least 3- 5 years of experience as a project manager in renewable energy which may include wind, solar and/or energy storage due diligence, project development, Owner's Engineering, construction, equipment supply, operation or mergers and acquisitions. - Experience of working in fast paced environment to support project financial close with lenders and investors. - Experience in reviewing financial model is highly desired. - At least bachelors-level education and core competence in a relevant field, e.g., mechanical, civil or electrical engineering, construction management, operations and maintenance, commercial, legal, finance. - Strong written and communication skills along with client facing experience. - Ability to work in a team environment and successfully manage multiple complex projects. The position requires a seasoned and experienced candidate with excellent communication, project management, and technical skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a can-do spirit and willingness to work in a team environment to achieve shared success. Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is$90,000 - $115,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
