Role Description In this role you will be responsible for providing hands-on support in executing key launch activities across Germany driving country-level regional and local market access tactics and initiatives to secure reimbursement of Revolution Medicines’ assets. In close cooperation with the sales, marketing, government affairs, and medical departments and in line with the overall commercial business strategy, you will spearhead and develop market access solutions. This will involve detailed and strategic involvement of various internal and external stakeholders, including hospitals, office-based oncologists, pharmacies, health insurances as well as medical associations and policy makers. Key Responsibilities - Secure listing in hospital pharmacy lists for Revolution Medicines’ assets once available across Germany, identifying organizational hurdles that might hinder broad adaptation in existing treatment algorithms. - Identify market specific needs of prescribers, pharmaceutical decision makers and health policy stakeholders and develop tactics to address evolving market access barriers. - Identify hurdles and develop strategies and tactics to enable patient-access via international pharmacy supply, if needed, complying with all relevant regulations for industry involvement. - Establish and maintain a network amongst opinion leaders, health insurances, physicians’ associations, and health policy makers. - Serve as one of the primary contact points for various market access stakeholder groups, including health insurances (incl. MDK), pharmacies, and hospital administrators. - Monitor, collect and inform internal stakeholders with insights on emerging changes in the pharmaceutical policy, pricing, and market access reimbursement framework relevant in the context of Revolution Medicines’ assets. - Position and represent Revolution Medicines and its assets in the best possible way towards all relevant healthcare bodies and stakeholders in Germany. - Initiate and organize regional/local events and projects to support reimbursement activities. Provide internal and external explanations and training materials regarding market access topics for all relevant stakeholder groups. - Support sales team members in all pharmaceutical reimbursement matters, including but not limited to: supportive argumentation on the value of the innovative character of Revolution Medicines assets, participating in discussions with German oncologists on reimbursement and market access topics, supporting initiatives around NUB applications for hospital use of Revolution Medicines assets in Germany. - Own responsibility for various health-system related organizational topics, corporate duties and requirements connected to reimbursement and market access (e.g. Lauer Taxe listing, information duties to public bodies, etc.). Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics, Public Health, Life Sciences, or Business preferred (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MBA). - 8+ years of experience in a Regional Market Access role within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry. - Extensive experience in working with statutory health insurance companies in Germany, as well as with physicians’ associations, MDK (“Medizinischer Dienst”), and other stakeholders. - Extensive knowledge of existing regulations in the German pharmaceutical healthcare system, including but not limited to the legal pricing framework, post-AMNOG system-imminent access hurdles, dispensing of pharmaceuticals, the taxation and reimbursement framework, (re-) importation of pharmaceuticals, patient-individual importation of drugs, federal/regional contracts on dispensation of pharmaceuticals (e.g. dispensing quotas, “Praxisbesonderheiten”). - Proven successful interaction with relevant stakeholders within the self-governing bodies in Germany. - Ability to influence and persuade external parties, proven track record in negotiations with external stakeholders. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, a structured approach to tasks and a professional appearance is essential to embody the core values from Revolution Medicines. - Flexible team member who can handle ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-growing organization embracing a positive attitude towards change, able to operate within agreed financial budgets. - Ability to set priorities and work towards tight timelines with a willingness to travel, mainly within Germany. Company Description Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), elironrasib (RMC-6291), zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), and RMC-5127 are currently in clinical development.
